Admissions

Update as of March 2017

Year 9 for September 2017 – no spaces

Year 7 for September 2017 – no spaces

Admission Criteria

We seek inquisitive, intelligent students displaying a confident sense of identity and an original approach to learning, problem solving and creativity. Although we do use entrance testing, greater emphasis is placed on interview, samples of work and feeder school reports. In some cases, we may ask to visit a student at their current school. Each year group is selected as a balanced cohort of students with different aptitudes and personal attributes who will motivate and inspire each other.

We welcome children from all educational backgrounds. Limited places are available in Years 7, for suitable applicants in year 10 and 6th form, subject to admissions criteria, for September 2016.

The school will give sympathetic consideration to siblings in terms of admissions but we do not operate a sibling priority policy.
