At Kew House School, we believe that the best learning happens when curiosity is ignited, ideas are put into action and pupils are challenged in a supportive environment. Our Discovery Day is designed to do exactly that.
This immersive experience will be held on the Summer Term of 2027 and more detail will be provided early next year.
The activities on offer are rotated and in June 2026 our Discovery Day involved two, hands-on, team challenges, where brains and bravery combined. In one half, teams tackled fast thinking number missions – cracking codes, solving clues and racing against the clock. In the other half, the same teams will switch gears, have time to think critically, collaborate and present their ideas, thereby, gaining a true insight into the Kew House approach to learning.
Discovery Day is about far more than solving problems — it’s about how pupils approach them. Throughout the session, pupils will be given the opportunity to display and develop:
Led by our expert teachers and supported by some of our senior pupils the day reflects the energy, ambition and warmth of our school community — a place where pupils are encouraged to challenge themselves, support one another and grow in confidence.
Places for Discovery Day are limited to ensure a high-quality experience for every pupil.
We look forward to welcoming you to Kew House School for an afternoon of challenge, creativity and discovery.
