Celebrating an Outstanding Summer of Achievement

From exceptional GCSE, A Level and EPQ results to places at leading universities across the UK, this summer has given the Kew House community much to celebrate.

Pupils in Years 11 and 13 have marked important milestones in their Kew House journeys with an impressive set of results, reflecting their academic ambition, individuality and determination – as well as the expertise and support of their teachers.

For our Year 11 pupils, more than a third of all GCSE grades – 37% – were awarded at grades 8 or 9, while the Sciences produced particularly strong results, with 89% of Biology, Chemistry and Physics grades at 7–9.

Year 13 pupils take their next steps

There was equally impressive news for our Year 13 leavers, with 84% achieving their preferred university offers. The breadth of their destinations and degree choices reflects the different interests and ambitions that have developed during their time at Kew House.

For the second consecutive year, the University of Bristol was the most popular destination, with eight acceptances. Other pupils secured places at universities including Imperial College London, Durham, Edinburgh, Exeter, UCL, Bath, Loughborough and Manchester, studying subjects ranging from Medicine, Computer Science and Physics to Engineering, English Literature, Politics, Economics and Environmental Geoscience.

Achievement with purpose

While examination results matter, what we celebrate at Kew House extends beyond individual grades.

This summer’s results demonstrate ambition in pupils setting high expectations for themselves; curiosity and originalityin the extraordinary breadth of subjects they have chosen to pursue; and adaptability in the different paths each pupil has taken to reach this point.

As our Year 13 pupils leave Kew House and our Year 11 pupils embark upon their Sixth Form studies, contribution becomes increasingly important too: how they use their knowledge, talents and character to make a positive difference to the communities and wider world around them.

These are the qualities at the heart of a Kew House education and of what it means to be World-Ready.

We congratulate every Year 11 and Year 13 pupil on their achievements this summer and thank the teachers, tutors and families whose encouragement and support have helped them reach this important moment.

We are enormously proud of what they have achieved – and even more excited to see what they do next.
