Outstanding Russell Group Offers

Highlighting academic ambition and exceptional university guidance at Kew House Sixth Form

Students at Kew House Sixth Form are celebrating an exceptional year of university offers, reflecting both their academic ambition and the strength of the school’s university preparation. This year, 85% of students applying through UCAS are holding offers from Russell Group universities, demonstrating one of the strongest years for the school as the Sixth Form continues to grow from strength to strength.

This year’s cohort has received offers from a wide range of prestigious universities, including Imperial College London, Durham University, University of Bristol, University of Exeter, University of Edinburgh, University of York, University of Southampton, University of Leeds, Newcastle University, and University of Warwick. This represents an impressive spread of leading institutions across the UK.

The offers highlight the breadth of talent within the Sixth Form, with students hoping to secure places across a wide range of disciplines. These include highly competitive STEM subjects such as Medicine, Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering and Biochemistry, alongside humanities and social sciences including PPE, Economics, Ancient History, Philosophy and Spanish, International Relations and English Literature. Creative and specialist pathways are also represented, with offers for courses such as Computer Animation.

These achievements reflect the strength of the Kew House Sixth Form experience. Small class sizes, specialist subject teaching and personalised mentoring allow students to flourish academically. Students also take part in specialist Individuals in Society (IS) groups, where they benefit from tailored UCAS guidance, structured preparation and personalised support throughout the application process. Alongside this, students receive expert support with personal statements, interview preparation and super-curricular exploration, helping them develop the intellectual curiosity, research skills and independent thinking that universities value.

“We are incredibly proud of our students. These results are a testament to their dedication and to the personalised guidance and care they receive throughout their Sixth Form journey.”

– Will Williams, Headmaster

The diversity of courses and institutions represented in this year’s offers is a testament to the ambition, talent and dedication of Kew House students, as well as the outstanding guidance provided by their teachers.
