At Kew House School, sport and physical exercise form an important part of the curriculum. Such activities are also included in the wide range of clubs and extra-curricular learning that takes place after the school day, at weekends and during the holidays. Kew House is situated in a convenient location for access to a number of nearby sports grounds and organisations as well as the River Thames and the range of water sports it offers.

All students partake in one afternoon of games per week plus a session of PE. This provides students with about 4 hours of sport and PE per week within the timetable. The sports on offer during games include football, handball, netball, hockey, rowing, rugby, rounders, basketball, swimming, tennis and athletics. In addition to the timetabled programme, many sporting clubs are on offer, including basketball, badminton, swimming and dance. After school and lunchtime clubs allow students further access to a comprehensive sports programme.
